Kilian Pender

Kilian is responsible for investment strategy at birchway. He was previously a general partner at Northzone where he co-led growth / scaleup investing (€3bn AUM), investing a €450m growth fund. He started his investing career in private equity, spending time with Blackstone and Centerbridge Partners. He is also a  former entrepreneur. He founded hiber, a SaaS enabled b2b marketplace in the home improvement space which he grew with Jez to a team of 70 people and revenues >$10m. He also acquired a green consumer lending business from the UK government, raising >£100m to do so.
